Sixth graders have ongoing access to all the digital, print, and audio resources in the TBS Library that they learned to use last year. Students may come on passes during morning meeting or Wednesdays during TI for new materials.
Additionally, all sixth graders will be participating in the TBS Hour of Code Program via their library class the week of December 5-11, which coincides with the National Hour of Code Week. This opportunity will remind students of the coding possibilities and when they have class second semester, they will all have a short coding unit made possible by the AEF Grant for small robotics that we received last spring.
Sixth Grade has Wellness class first semester, but they may come to the library with a pass from their homeroom teacher any morning to check out books, print, access a computer, etc. They will resume library classes at the end of January when fifth grade switches to Wellness.
